I'm mainly a woodsballer and I am looking forward to this new pistol just hope it's not too expensive like the rest of the mag fed pistols have been up to now.

I have also hear rumor that it was the pistol prototype that was stolen, they have also released pictures of the pistol it is sexy. I hope its reasonable unlike the tac9's.

Pistols are cool to mess around with and stuff, but I don't really see the fun in actually buying one.

Ever seen the movie "We were Soliders?" The Master Sgt. only carries a .45 while in battle becasue his main duty is commanding the troops not shooting the other guys but has a side arm when needed.  Also if you are on a mission that you don't expect to encounter a player from the other team you can carry a very much lighter wight pistol again just in case.
 
Like in real life if you KNOW you are going into a situation you are gong to need a gun you carry a shotgun or rifle you only carry a handgun just incase you run into trubble.  The riot police carry shotguns, the cop on the beat has a pistol since he's not expecting trubble but are ready for it.
 
I have a tendancy to command a small squad when playing day long or longer scenarios and my autoc0cker get's heavy specially when I haven't fired it in the last 20 min becasue I'm out of range of the other team "barking" orders.

I want to see this new pistol....I love all paintball..... speed ball is by far my favorite fix for adrinalin but a well themed and orchastrated game of hide and seek in the woods is fun to...I want two pistols one for each hand like face off or something......gold plated .45....who want test me? dont under estimate the power of a man and his little guns....lol
 
it all boils down to who has the the better instincts and skills any way give me some face paint and a blow gun its on.....

I once saw a Gold Plated Colt .45acp at Vance's Shooting Supplies for sale, it was like $1800 back in the 1990's and the card read something like this.....
 
"This Gun was a special order by _ _ _ _ _   _  _ _ (Some Dude), a Columbian Drug Lord directly from the Colt Factory but was arrested before he could take delivery.  Cost: $1800"

That depends on what you want to do.  If I holster a pistol becase I'm setting up land mines, booby traps or whatnot during a scenario if I come up on an opposing patroll I'm not totally defenceless.  The Tac-8 you put up as the example is the size of a mini yes but there's nothing more you have to add to that.  Also there are pistol only tourneys as well as the simple fact of if it's a rec game sometimes it's just fun to be totally out gunned for a challenge.
