Description for Battlefront Paintball

In 1954 a gunpowder production facility near Hubbard, OH exploded and was abandonded. For 50 years the partialy destroyed buildings, bridges and rail lines became over grown with trees and brush and, in general, reclaimed by nature. In April 2005 Battlefront began converting the site into one of the most realistic war zone paintball fields anywhere. The field opened July 2, 2005, and over 2000 different players have already enjoyed this unique field. Check us out at www.battlefrontpaintball.com

Review: I've grown up with this sport, and seen my share of fields come and go. This is one of those fields you dream about. Coming up on their Second Anniversary in July, you wouldn't know they were that young looking at the field.

This place is like no other, with real concrete 'bombed out' buildings. Towers, hills, bunkers fortified emplacements, woods and a creek... this place has it all. Just when you think you know this field, the owners uncover another structure or build bunkers and bridges seemingly overnight.

As all fields do they have suffered some growing pains, but nothing serious. I can't wait to see this place in the future, it keeps growing in size and number of attendance, currently around 180 - 220 players attend the monthly scenarios. Scenario planning is improving with time. This field is worth the drive, open year round even in the winter although they slow down to one day a weekend then.
